smartroad on Chernobyl and the Leiger

Maybe even some form of autonomous rover that could be given a route and go on its own then report back. Of course that may probably need to have some sophisticated programing so it doesn’t get stuck/drive off a cliff etc!

A quadcopter that could skirt the ground could be another solution. It could be set to be only a few feet from the ground, say head height. Using gps for location and utrasonics/radar for height.
